A. Considering the Possibilities for Your Land

After identifying native and non-native plants, assess those areas you currently use and how you access them. Contemplate areas you would like to access that may not yet exist. Is there an open space perfect for a picnic area or a shady place to hang a hammock or access to a section of creek that runs through your land? Ask yourself, how can I create areas I will use while integrating and isolating those areas where natives are presently growing and can subsequently spread?

The San Lorenzo Valley Native Habitat Restoration Program integrates environmental and community needs to restore the riparian habitat and ensure the ongoing health and beauty of the watershed.
